Dixie Supports Local Communities So You Can Win Big

Listen up, Alabama! Here is your chance to #WinBigWithDixie. The big community giveback from Dixie Electric, Plumbing & Air is back for its second year.
You can register to win any one of these three great prizes: a central air conditioner, a water heater, or a Safe and Sound Inspection to protect your home from a disaster like a house fire.
The contest is open to everyone who does business with Dixie Electric, Plumbing & Air in March and April, but it’s about much more than electric, plumbing and HVAC. It’s about giving back to our community, so you can also register to win just by attending one of these four upcoming community events:
East Alabama Home and Garden Show – March 11:
This event will be held at the Bottling Plant Event Center in Opelika, which is sponsoring the event along with the Opelika-Auburn News. The Dixie team will be among the vendors showing off their products to help you spruce up your home and make it safer and more efficient in 2017.
Montgomery Babypalooza Baby & Maternity Expo – April 1:
This free baby and maternity fair is at the Multiplex at the Cranston Bowl and runs from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This fun event will include tons of important information for Moms, Moms-to-be, and Dads as well.
Baptist Health will have representatives on hand for all women’s and children’s services. Nurses and staff will be available for private conversations about neonatal care, postpartum issues, labor and delivery, and pediatrics. Dixie will be talking all things “baby-proof” within your home.
Joy to Life Walk in Montgomery – April 22:
Again, this year Dixie Electric, Plumbing & Air will be taking part in this great event. The Walk for Life takes place in downtown Montgomery.
It’s sponsored by The Joy to Life Foundation with the goal of providing free mammograms and other breast cancer screenings for women who otherwise might not be able to get these life-saving services.
Since being founded in 2001, the foundation has provided more than 15,000 mammograms, resulting in hundreds of women being treated successfully.

Auburn CityFest – April 29:
This is Auburn’s largest free outdoor festival and is held in Kiesel Park from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The festival includes live entertainment from The WannaBeatles who are much more than a musical group, a juried art exhibition, and all sorts of activities for the kids at the Children’s Imagination Station.
