Dixie Auburn

Call Dixie in Auburn/Opelika

When Dixie Electric, Plumbing & Air opened our office in Auburn/Opelika, AL we discovered how vibrant this growing community is. There’s always a unique energy in cities that are home to major universities and that’s certainly the case with Auburn University. This may be one of the reasons the city’s nickname is “The Loveliest City on the Plains.”

A STORY OF GROWTH AND VITALITY

The numbers tell the story. Since the turn of the century, Auburn’s population has grown 40% to more than 63,000. We’re aware problems can often accompany rapid growth, but it can also mean big opportunities. It’s why we chose to open our Auburn, AL office in 2015.

MEETING HOME COMFORT NEEDS

As the city has grown so have we. Dixie has expert HVAC technicians, plumbers, and electricians to keep your home or business safe and comfortable. Whether it’s a new water heater, maintenance and repair of your central air conditioner, plumbing repairs, or new exterior lighting to add to your home’s value, remember our Motto: “Call Dixie and it’s done!”

UNIVERSITY ADDS MANY ATTRACTIONS & ACTIVITIES TO THE CITY

Auburn, AL has many attractions thanks in part to the university. One example is the Donald E. Davis Arboretum supported by the College of Sciences and Mathematics. The 13-acre facility gives visitors a place to enjoy nature and learn about the native plants and habitats of Alabama.

As a long-time member of the Southeastern Conference, Auburn University is well known for its athletic history. While on campus you can learn all about it by visiting the Jonathan Bell Lovelace Museum.

Here’s a little historical tidbit about that has nothing to do with sports. Did you know that in 1892 what is now Auburn became the first four-year college in Alabama to admit women?

AUBURN PRIDES ITSELF ON RECREATIONAL & CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

While the university is one of the city’s biggest attractions, it’s certainly not the only one. The city has dozens of parks and trails for recreation. There are also arts and cultural events nearly year-round thanks to the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center.

DIXIE SERVES THE ENTIRE REGION

With Dixie’s continued growth matching that of the region we can provide service far outside the Auburn AL city limits. If your home or business is in Notasulga, Waverly, Oak Bowery, Beauregard, or The Bottle, Dixie Electric, Plumbing & Air is ready, willing, and able to serve your home comfort needs year-round.
