HVAC Tips for Allergies

Springtime is known for allergies. As the weather gets warmer, the allergies get worse. Dust mites and mold are some of the biggest allergens that seem to increase during the Spring. We wanted to offer you some HVAC tips for Allergies!

1. Dirty Filters: If you haven’t cleaned your filters this month, now is the time to do it. You should be checking your air filters monthly. Debris or dirt stuck in your filter can cause harmful air in your home. Filters usually last up to three months, but only if you take care of them!
2. Take a walk outside and clean the dirt that is on and around your unit. Even if you’ve covered it for the past season – animals, leaves, and dirt could still be in there. If you have an indoor AC unit, be sure to check on that as well!
3. Give us a call! Spring is a great time for an HVAC Maintenance check-up. Summer is when a lot of people tend to run into problems with their HVAC unit. We want to make sure we find any issues before they become even bigger problems!
