After 100 years, Dixie Electric, Plumbing & Air has learned how important workplace safety is on construction projects, but our commitment runs deeper. It is a core value of our company because our people and the people we work with are Dixie’s most important assets.
Every Dixie employee maintains safety in every action, on every project, every day. Strict adherence to safety is our company’s highest priority. Dixie takes every step to provide a safe work environment for all employees and all contractors.
For example, all of our electricians are required to meet the NFPA 70E requirements for safe work practices. It was developed by the National Fire Protection Association at the request of OSHA. It means our employees are trained to avoid workplace injuries and deaths due to shock, electrocution, arc flash, and arc blast.
In addition, our Electricians, plumbers and HVAC technicians receive one or two training sessions a week in-house, and attend outside professional training to update their technical skills.
Dixie invests in only the finest electricians plumbers, and technicians. The end result is low employee turnover and high customer satisfaction. It’s a formula for repeat business and new referrals. Everybody wins!
What does it mean for you? Your business is your livelihood. A safe workplace means your construction project remains incident free, on budget, and on time.
If there’s ever a time when Dixie can’t help with your construction needs, we will refer you to company that can help. Our only goal is to make you happy so you will call us the next time.
