How Dixie is Responding to the COVID-19 Pandemic & Next Steps

dixie covid19

Dear Dixie Clients,
The safety and wellness of our clients, team members, and your families is and will always be Dixie’s top priority. In the home services industry, we have a unique role in the current situation.
In accordance with the CDC and other government guidelines, we have immediately taken the following preventive measures to help reduce your risk of exposure to the Coronavirus (COVID-19):

  • Dixie will continue the cleaning regimes of our office and service vehicles to keep our team members healthy in order to serve you.
  • All our servicemen, installers and apprentices will thoroughly wash their hands with soap and water that is provided on all trucks before and after entering your home.
  • As always, we will wear new and clean shoe covers and will now wear disposable gloves whenever we are in your home.
  • Dixie staff members who are not feeling well are instructed to stay home, to enable them to recover quicker and for proper safety measures. We are taking temperatures of staff members each morning to ensure proper health and wellness.

With the recommendation of social distancing and self-quarantining, the needs for home maintenance are likely to increase. While there is a lot of uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 and its effect on our daily lives, one thing is certain: Dixie Electric, Plumbing & Air is here to help in any way we can.
If any of our customers need any essential grocery items, please let us know before we arrive and we can pick it up on our way for you.
From our family to yours,
The Dixie Team
