Join Dixie in the Fight to Knock Out Breast Cancer

We don’t know about you, but Dixie Electric, Plumbing & Air is spoiling for a fight. We’re ready to beat up on breast cancer during October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month. That’s why we want you to join us in the Catch Me In Pink™ campaign. It’s a fun and easy way to fight back against the disease AND you can win some great prizes.
Here’s how it works. All month our employees will be wearing pink. When you see one of them, ask to take a photo of just the two of you (we call it an #usie). When you post the photo (set to public) on social media with the hashtag #CatchMeInPink, Dixie will make a donation to the Joy To Life Foundation. If you’re not familiar with the great work they do here in Alabama, we urge you to check out their website. When you post your photo, you are automatically entered to win one of four $25 Visa gift cards, or maybe the national grand prize of a tropical trip for two.
We’re doing this because breast cancer is a battle that hits close to home for virtually everyone. Maybe you had a close friend, family member, or coworker who has battled this disease. This is your chance to honor them and help in the search for a cure.
You know you need heating system maintenance before winter arrives, so why wait for next month? Schedule it for October and take your photo when the Dixie technician arrives. Or maybe you know your air conditioner was on its last legs this summer. Don’t wait until spring to do a replacement. Call us and schedule it now, take a photo and post it online. The more photos posted, the more Dixie will donate.
We know this won’t ease the pain for those who have lost loved ones, but it’s organizations like the Joy To Life Foundation that will eventually conquer breast cancer. We can’t think of an easier or more enjoyable way for you to join the fight and honor those friends and family members who have been affected.
This is just one of the ways Dixie Electric, Plumbing & Air gives back. Be sure to like and follow us on Facebook and Twitter to learn more about the other community events we take part in.
