As Dixie Electric, Plumbing & Air continues to celebrate its 110th anniversary, company president and chief operating officer Noble Yelverton made recent appearances on the Central Alabama Business Break on WSFA-TV and on the award-winning Auburn-Opelika this morning radio show on News Talk WANI. Noble wanted to make sure everyone knows about the “Blast from the Past” contest to mark our 110 years in business. In each case you can listen to the entire interviews from WSFA and WANI here.
If you haven’t heard, Dixie Electric, Plumbing & Air is looking for the oldest air conditioner, hot water heater, and electrical panel in our service area. We will be giving away a new air conditioner, tank-style water heater, and electrical panel to the winner in each category. There are several ways to enter including right here on our website. As Yelverton told viewers on WSFA, the contest is just one more way for Dixie to reach out to the communities they serve, especially in this year marking the 110th anniversary of the company started by his great-grandfather in 1908.
Yelverton also reminded listeners about the importance of regular maintenance to avoid breakdowns at the worst time. The best way to handle that maintenance is through the Dixie Cares Maintenance Plan. It provides yearly tune-ups on your cooling and heating systems as well as plumbing and electrical inspections.
Whatever your electrical, plumbing and HVAC needs are, remember our motto, “Call Dixie and it’s done!”
